Overview

Unsurpassed Automation and Ease of Use

Clinical laboratories are under intense pressure to balance the high demand for testing with the desire among clinicians and patients to quickly get accurate results.

Offering unprecedented automation, ease of use, and workflow flexibility, the OsmoPRO MAX is built for labs of all sizes. Features like automated pipetting, continuous loading of primary tubes, onboard video instructions, and integrated barcode scanners minimize errors and simplify the testing process. The instrument takes walk-away osmolality testing to a new level, increasing confidence among your staff and allowing them to focus on other value-added laboratory tasks.

Built For Labs of All Sizes

LOW-VOLUME LABS

Simple and intuitive operation eliminates manual processes, minimizes errors, and enables staff of varying skill levels to deliver accurate and timely results.

MODERATE-VOLUME LABS

Effortlessly process any volume of tests and focus on other laboratory priorities with the built-in automation, flexibility, and ease-of-use of the OsmoPRO MAX.

HIGH-VOLUME LABS AND REFERENCE LABS

Automated, continuous testing and cleaning streamlines high throughput testing with minimal user intervention.

Product Features

AUTOMATED PIPETTING

The OsmoPRO MAX automatically pipettes a sample directly from the primary tube and performs testing and cleaning within the device, eliminating the need for consumables.

CONTINUOUS LOADING CAPABILITY

The OsmoPRO MAX turntable allows users to continuously load and unload samples in a variety of primary tube sizes, preventing workflow interruptions and improving turnaround times.

PROGRAMMABLE REPLICATE TESTING

Walk away while the OsmoPRO MAX performs testing of replicates from the same primary tube.

ROBUST DESIGN

Calibration is needed as infrequently as once per year and the instrument is designed to be powered on 24/7 to maximize uptime.

USER-FRIENDLY TOUCHSCREEN

A color-coded touchscreen, intuitive user interface and multi-language capability enable staff of varying skill levels to operate the device. Onboard video instruction guides users through cleaning, maintenance, and calibration workflows.

AUTOMATED SAMPLE IDENTIFICATION

An integrated barcode scanner automatically scans the turntable to determine the number of samples present and their sample IDs.

INTELLIGENT FLUID MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The liquid handling system automatically detects the level of the sample in the primary tube. Ready-to-use system fluid automates cleaning between samples for up to 500 tests.

ONBOARD QUALITY CONTROL

Automatically upload data to the AdvancedQC™ Peer Group Program to compare results with peers and spot changes in instrument performance. Lock-out capability enables supervisors to require passing QC before sample testing.

FLEXIBLE AND SECURE DATA MANAGEMENT

Easily export data to your laboratory information system, a USB, or an optional printer. Two-level user access with supervisor-defined permissions provides peace of mind, and sample IDs, password-protected user IDs, and lot recording enable traceability.

USER AND LOT TRACEABILITY

A second integrated barcode scanner scans employee badges as well as calibration and controls kits for user and lot traceability.
