Spiral Biotech Autoplate® 4000 Automated Spiral Plater for Accurate Bacterial Enumeration
The Spiral Biotech Autoplate 4000 is a microprocessor-controlled Spiral Plater used for bacterial enumeration, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, and mutagenicity assays. The unique Autoplate technology eliminates most serial dilutions by continuously reducing the number of microbes on the spiral track. This leads to a two-thirds reduction of disposable materials and significant savings in time and labor. The Autoplate 4000 provides greater detection sensitivity and sample repeatability than conventional plating techniques.
Eight deposition modes make the Autoplate 4000 the most flexible Spiral Plater on the market. Spiral plating is ideal for any application where total microbial count is required.
Features:
How it works:
A dispensing stylus deposits a syringe-drawn sample onto a rotating agar plate. The stylus moves from near-center of the plate outward as the plate rotates, and the syringe plunger drives downward, depositing less sample as the stylus moves outward.
