Advanced® Model BR2 Bilirubin Stat-Analyzer™

Advanced® Model BR2 Bilirubin Stat-Analyzer™

Advanced Instruments Bilirubin STAT-Analyzer™, Model BR2, for Total Bilirubin and Direct Bilirubin Measurement

The Advanced Instruments Model BR2 Bilirubin STAT-Analyzer™ employs the method of Evelyn-Malloy, after Henry, to measure total bilirubin and direct bilirubin in neonatal samples.

The BR2 determines bilirubin levels through spectrophotometric analysis.

  • Works with infant plasma or serum samples
  • Requires only 30 µL of sample
  • Total bilirubin measured immediately, direct bilirubin takes just two minutes.
  • Easy to use, simple setup, calibration and operation

Uses and Applications

  • Identify hyperbilirubinema
  • Chart the normal course of post-partum physiological jaundice
  • Monitor those at high risk of kernicterus
  • Determine the onset of normal hepatic bilirubin conjugating mechanism
